Data privacy always has been part of our operations. Lately in our society digitalization has changed the ways we use and utilize personal data. This has created the need to update statutes and legislation so that they relate to the new and current ways we use personal data. EU´s General Data Protection Regulation is being applied from 25th of May 2018 onwards to all organizations and companies that handle or process personal data. With the new regulation person´s own right to decide about the hanling of his or her personal data is emphasized. ValueSource Partners is engaged to protect the personal data of its services' users according to General Data Protection Regulation and other applied legislation.
What kind of personal data we collect and why?
ValueSource Partners’ business customer register and decision-makers register are maintained for customer relationship management purposes, conducting targeted marketing and communication, and for further developing ValueSource Partners’ (later “ValueSource) services.
The following personal data may be included in the registers: company name and address; the names, titles and possible job descriptions of contact persons; e-mail addresses and phone numbers; and additional information, including information related to assignments, invoicing, trainings and events, and access rights to ValueSource’s web-based services such as blog subscription or recruitment system.
We collect personal data from individuals whose personal data is being collected and from other sources, such as the companies we work with and other third party sources. As an example: we collect your personal data when you subscribe to our blog(s) or enter information through other online forms available on our website. However, we may also collect information from generally available sources, such as company websites, other service providers (e.g Suomen Asiakastieto Oy, Fonecta Oy), and private and public registers.

We are using analytics services provided by Google Analytics and HubSpot on our websites. In such cases, we aim to ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with the law, these data protection principles, and descriptions of our data registers.
You have the right to inspect the data we process about you and demand corrections to incorrect data. You have also the right to deny the usage of your data or to ask your data to be removed from the registers to the extent where the data is not required to be retained by any legislation. These rights may be used free of charge once a year.
Our websites contain links to external websites or contents from external websites, such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Any use of external contents is subject to the website’s respective description of a data file.
