Your Privacy at ValueSource Partners

At ValueSource, your privacy matters to us. We make sure your data is kept safe. Below, we explain what kinds of personal data we collect and how we process it.

ValueSource – Privacy Policy

Data protection has always been part of our operations. In recent years, digitalisation has changed how personal data is used in our society. This has created a need to update regulations so that they reflect new and current ways of using personal data. The EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has applied from 25 May 2018 to all companies and organisations that process personal data. The regulation aims to emphasise the individual's right to decide about their own data and its use. ValueSource Partners is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of its services in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable legislation. Below, we explain what kinds of personal data we collect and how we process it.

What Data Do We Collect, and Why?

ValueSource Partners maintains business customer and corporate decision-maker registers for the purposes of managing client relationships, targeting communications, and developing ValueSource Partners (hereinafter "ValueSource") services.

We collect the following kinds of information into the register, for example: company name and address details, contact persons' names, job titles and any job descriptions, email addresses and phone numbers, along with additional information relating to engagements, invoicing, training sessions, and events, among other things.

Data is collected primarily from individuals themselves and from companies during the client relationship, but also from other sources. For example, data may be collected when you subscribe to our blog or enter information into other electronic forms through our websites. We may also collect data from public sources, such as company websites and service providers (for example Suomen Asiakastieto Oy, Fonecta Oy), and from private and public registers.

ValueSource's job applicant register is maintained for the purposes of recruitment, and for active talent profiles also for targeting communications. More information about our job applicant register and its privacy policy can be found on our recruitment pages, behind the "open application" button.
